Workout Alone Can Improve Insulin Sensitivity

Cardio workout alone could control insulin sensitivity

Although it is desirable, losing weight and maintaining an optimal weight may not be easy for many people, even though it is one of the most effective ways to improve insulin sensitivity. Insulin sensitivity is a very significant condition, since it might subsequently lead to type 2 diabetes.

However, according to researchers of Baylor College of Medicine, you do not need to lose weight, but you just need to do moderate aerobic exercise; that is good news. The people who participated in the study did a 30-minute cardio workout at 70% of their maximum capacity, 4 times a week. The study found that both lean people and obese people improved their insulin sensitivity.

So even if you don’t have a problem with insulin sensitivity, it is a good idea to do cardio workouts!
